To the coast Boltenhagen (extensive, clean sandy beach) is about 9 km. The Wohlenberger Wiek is about 10 km away. Again, there is a very popular sandy beach. On the natural beaches like in Steinbeck you will find more peace. The Klützer Winkel is a great place to explore by bike or on foot. Many cycling and hiking trails in the area offer the best conditions to discover and experience the area up close. You can marvel at and visit various sights and excursion destinations, such as the castle Bothmer in Klütz. Excursions to the Hanseatic cities of Wismar and Lübeck promise maritime flair. In the port of Wismarer, for example, you can get fresh fish directly from the cutter. Boltenhagen offers all the amenities of a seaside resort: pier, spa park, boulevard with terraces, restaurant and numerous small shops. Enjoy the Baltic sea air right on the beach.
