Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Shirley was an excellent host. She showed us our room and ensured we were happy with it prior to charging us for the stay. The main common area and rooms have thoughtfully placed trinkets, with decor that tells a story. The room we stayed in was on the upper floor. It featured both a private entrance and direct stairwell to the common area. Coffee maker, tea, and popcorn were available to us in our room as well as a small fridge. We could see the ocean from the huge window. We sat in the comfy chairs in front of the window, sipping our morning brew with one of the two room heaters going. The king sized bed was extremely comfy, I hadn't slept that good in another bed in a long time, and the pillows were nice and fluffy. The room was clean, and there were toiletries and soft towels provided. The breakfast Shirley made for us was incredible, note that the recipes were her late husbands, which made the experience more special. Hearing her stories and experiences, you can tell she has put a lot of effort and love into their Bed and Breakfast. Nothing beats the view from the dining room. We will definitely be back!

Negative: The room can get a bit cold, but this can be avoided if you turn on the smaller heater to medium before bed its a workhorse. This isn't a negative necessarily, but more of a tip to those who enjoy a warmer room!
