We are excited to share our modern loft/townhome at 711 Oak Street, located in the heart of Hood River.
This modern townhome on Oak St. has it all. Great views of the Columbia River, walking access to everything, upper deck for grilling and enjoying company, loaded game room, off-street parking for 3 vehicles, and thoughtfully furnished space for living, cooking, eating, sleeping, and enjoying Hood River.
“A Date With The Gorge” is in the downtown hub of Hood River and walking distance from shopping, dining, cafes, bike shops, wind sport and mountain sport rentals, and wineries. Within
a four block radius are: Mike’s Ice Cream, Evoke Winery, The Pines Winery, 6th Street Bistro, Kickstand Cafe, Double Mountain Pizza, Oak Street Pub, and countless other entertainment
and food options. We are located on the south side of 7th street with rear entry and parking for the unit off State Street. This elevated position gives you unbelievable views of The Gorge,
including the Event Site, Sandbar, and White Salmon Bluff and Bridge. Enjoy spacious views while wind enthusiasts are: kiteboarding, wingfoiling, downwind SUP foiling, windsurfing, and
any other activity that the Columbia River offers.
Mt. Hood Meadows ski area is a quick 30 - minute drive up Highway 35, and Timberline Lodge is another 15 minutes up the hill.
You’ll find a solid night’s rest on any of our five beds and two trundles with thick memory foam mattresses and high thread count 100% cotton sheets. Three full bathrooms come fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash, and 100% cotton towels.
Floor by Floor–
Top Floor- Enjoy our large living room, dining room, full bath, upper deck with BBQ, and a bedroom that offers two twin beds and two trundles.
Middle Floor- This is the entry level. On this level you will find the master suite with a king bed, a private bathroom with walk in shower, and a private outdoor deck. Also, on this level is our
game room with: foosball, electronic darts, two arcade video games, hang 21, and enjoy some of our custom artwork featuring our bohemian bear mascot: KC. Also on the middle floor is the laundry room, and an entry closet with items such as: ironing board, pack and play, high chair, fire extinguisher and first aid kit, and other items that may be needed.
Bottom Floor- Two more bedrooms with queen sized beds, and the third full bath. Also another outdoor and indoor seating area for enjoying a good book and a cup of coffee.

Game Room-
Want to stay home for the evening or keep the kids entertained? Enjoy our game room that packs a big punch. Put the big game on the TV, play Street Fighter or Golden Tee on the arcade, a game of “foos”, electronic darts, or hang 21. Also provided is a wine fridge, additional seating, and a storage area at the front of the garage for your wind sports gear, or bicycles.
Kitchen and Dining-
You’ll find a fully stocked kitchen suite of utensils and cooking accessories to use to prepare your favorite dishes with ease. Outside, use the Weber gas grill to grill steaks, fish, burgers, or
your favorite BBQ option. Enjoy your coffee with a traditional drip or the provided Nespresso machine.
TV and Entertainment-
Want to catch a game or watch your favorite Netflix? We’ve got the house stocked with: 3- 50”, and 2- 43” Samsung Smart TVs. Just login with your personal log-in for any of the provided
apps. Also, on the top floor is a record player that also is a bluetooth speaker. Easily connect to enjoy your personal playlists in the main living area.
We are fully licensed with the City of Hood River for short term rental.
