This peaceful, private spot provides a retreat for the whole family.
Fully furnished and equipped with everything you need to enjoy a home away from home.
Relax on our spacious deck while enjoying stunning views and sunsets over the Hokianga Harbour and golden sand dunes.

Living area: 3 seater & 2 seater couches, 2 comfy armchairs, coffee table, TV, bookshelf, entrance way with table.
Dining table: 6 seater dining table
Deck: Spacious harbour-facing deck with small table & 2 chairs to enjoy a morning coffee
Guest Access
The cottage property is completely separated from the church, you do share a driveway however.
It is private, quiet property.
There is ample parking & there is flexible self check-in

I’ll be available to help you with anything you may require during your stay, but prefer to communicate through the app, as I live 10 mins drive away from the cottage.

Ōmāpere is a small harbour side village overlooking the stunning Hokianga Harbour and golden sand dunes, on the West Coast in the Far North District
15 mins North of Waipoa Forest & Tane Mahuta, 5 mins south of Opononi.
Ōmāpere/Opononi has a 2 dairies, GAS station, takeaways: fish & chips, pizza, restaurants: The Sands, Opononi Hotel, Opononi Pub & various cafes. Manea cultural museum is another major attraction.
There are lots of lovely walks in the area: Signal station, Tane Mahuta and Kauri Tree walks, Koutu Boulders & Waitomarama falls, to name a few.
