Located in a very quiet West Shore neighborhood, Hamm Haus has everything you need for a serene yet exciting Lake Tahoe getaway. This comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is perfect for all seasons.
In summer, relax and soak up the sun on the deck surrounded by pines or cook out on the gas grill and dine al fresco. For a lively lakefront scene, Chamberlands Beach, Bar & Grill is just a little over a mile to the north -- about a 3 minute drive or a 20 minute walk. Lakefront Sugar Pine Point, DL Bliss and Emerald Bay State Parks are easily accessed to the south.
Winter offers proximity to Homewood Mountain Resort for awesome alpine skiing and snowboarding just a couple of miles to the north or superb Nordic skiing and snow shoeing at Sugar Pine Point State Park a couple of miles to the south. Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are an easy 15 mile drive.
During Spring and Fall, beautiful hikes await just outside your door or head 4 miles north to Eagle Rock for a short hike ending in a spectacular lake view from atop an ancient volcanic outcrop.
The house itself is ideal for a small family or group of up to 6 guests. Gather in the living area and enjoy the gas fireplace, flat screen TV, plush sofas and plenty of DVDs, books and games. Prepare tasty meals in the fully equipped kitchen where 5 barstools at the counter provide a view of the action for kids or non-cooks.
Sunny and spacious dining room features 6 large windows plus sliding doors on either end to let in lots of natural light. Large table has seating for 6. Settle in to one of the chairs in the book-reading nook at the far end of the room for a little quiet time.
Downstairs, off of the living room, is a bedroom with comfy King bed and a roomy ¾ bathroom (shower, but no bathtub) in the hall. Upstairs bedroom includes two Twin beds and a king size bed, flat screen TV and another ¾ bathroom.
Plenty of parking is available on the paved driveway and in the 2 car garage. There’s a ping pong table available in the garage too!
