A spacious older style house with room to spread out. Plenty of space upstairs and downstairs for extended families or two families holidaying together.

Upstairs: 2 bedrooms - King (sleeps 2), triple (sleeps 3). Large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge opens onto a north-facing balcony looking out at the sea. All day sun. Cosy wood fire for winter. Sky TV with Sky Sport. Bathroom includes bath and shower. Separate loo.
Downstairs: Semi-self-contained, with 2 bedrooms. Queen (sleeps 2), bunkroom (sleeps 2). Lounge - single bed (Sleeps 1). Jug, microwave and toaster in the combined living area, with a ranch slider providing separate entrance from upstairs. (Portable hob and electric frypan available on request). Shower and loo. Freeview TV. Heater for winter.
The large garden has fruit trees and heaps of room for kids to play. Ample parking for cars/boats. Washing machine, plus 3 kayaks and 2 paddle boards for guests’ use are in the garage.
You are spoilt for choice with things to see and do in Golden Bay and most visitors wish they could stay longer. Enjoy the region’s renowned beaches, quirky shops, great galleries and cafes. The Grove, Labyrinth Rocks and Wainui Waterfall are all within 30 minutes’ drive. Farewell Spit, Wharariki and other scenic treasures are within easy reach and well worth the trip. Hiking, fishing, kayaking, golf - or just sitting back and taking in the view - Pohara is an ideal base for your family adventures!
