Welcome to our beautiful, dog-friendly, contemporary Big Sur-Style Lodge Home in Carmel with amazing UNOBSTRUCTED 180-degree views of Carmel Valley, Carmel Bay including Monastery and Carmel River Beaches, Point Lobos and the Pacific Ocean. PRIVACY! These views overlook a canopy of trees with virtually no direct view of other houses and no power lines! This warm and comfortable home is 3,200 sf with 4 large bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms - two are Primary-Suites! It has EVERYTHING for a vacation or retreat including a Hot-Tub and a Fire-Table with seating to enjoy the night sky. The additional first floor unit has been added to the listing for 2026 and the property now includes a NEW Game Room with pool table, ping-pong, air hockey, Darts, TV, lounge area with a wet bar/ kitchenette as well as the 4th bedroom and 4th full bathroom.
Floor-to-ceiling Picture Windows frame spectacular views from the Living Room. All 4 bedrooms have glass sliding doors with access to the wrap around deck on the main floor. The Upstairs Master Suite has sweeping views of the valley, Point Lobos and ocean from the queen-sized bed, and even the bathroom has a picture window with views from the shower & toilet. Sleep under the Redwoods in the spacious 425 sf Cabin Suite. It has an en-suite with it's own bar sink, microwave and bathroom. The kitchen table can be changed for a sleeper-futon on request for a small family to share the space. It has access to it's own outdoor space or the 'mid-deck' with a table and 2 chairs. The 3rd guest bedroom 'Deep Blue' is adjacent to the main bathroom and has a queen bed, desk, 2 chairs, full-sized washer and dryer and sliding doors to the deck with Green Belt views. The ground floor has lots of windows and natural sunlight and offers the 4th "First Floor Suite", also with a view of Point Lobos from bed. The Hot Tub is on the ground floor deck with a fenced in garden area, fire-table and outdoor lounge area. Each room has its own original character while still blending with the Big Sur-style Lodge.
The front Orange door welcomes you as you enter the house into the upper Office/Den Loft with full office desk, with a copier/printer and shredder, a 2nd writing desk and large coffee table perfect for puzzles and games. It has a queen-sleeper couch. Well behaved dogs are welcome and there is a generous fenced in dog-run. This newly renovated home* is a dedicated Vacation Rental. It is fresh, clean and uncluttered with an updated Big Sur lodge influence.
We've got the VIEWS on Crestview that is right off Hwy 1 and an easy 1 mile from the quintessential Village of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Though we need to "batten down the hatches" and clear furniture from the decks when BIG storms arrive, you can enjoy the storm and the whitecaps in the bay from inside the cozy living room. New solar panels and solar batteries help to keep the power on during storms as the forest + rain + wind can mean prolonged power outages here in Carmel. There is even a weather station to experience and record the wind gusts, and a cozy fireplace to "weather the storm". Big Sur-Style Lodge is perfect for a Vacation or remote Work/ Study Retreat, and affords the space, comfort and privacy for family or friendship reunions.

This house is perfect for a gathering of family or friends that offers large bedrooms for personal space, and excellent shared space. This property is best suited for adults as all doors open to the outside wrap around deck. This Oasis is calm and peaceful and the decks are not suited for loud and energetic families that need an open space to run around.
