Welcome! Our beautiful cottage is just a short 10 minute walk to the center of Los Olivos. Drive through the gates of our private 5 acre ranch, past the corrals, up the tree lined drive and enter our renovated cottage. The cottage used to be a hunting cabin back in the 1960's and still retains all of it's charm.
Enter into the living area with thick log walls where you'll find hardwood floors and a gas fireplace that open onto a dining area with a huge bay window. There's a complete kitchen with dark granite counters and marble floors, and a laundry/pantry room with your own washer & dryer. Tucked near the stairs is a fully equipped, renovated bathroom with a big, tiled shower and large fluffy towels. Off the dining area, there's a cozy bedroom with a queen size bed and views of the garden. Wander up the staircase and you will discover the perfect master-suite. Light the fireplace and sink into the queen size bed with down comforter for a fabulous night's sleep. Just steps away is the bathroom complete with a Jacuzzi tub framed by Carrara marble.
The front deck has a porch swing and a wrought-iron table & chairs with a BBQ around the side. Across the yard is a picnic table under bistro lights if you prefer to dine al fresco.
For entertainment, the cottage has a 32 inch flatscreen TV in the living area with a Roku box that has Netflix and Amazon (no live tv/cable).
There's a dedicated Wifi network covering all of the house and grounds.
Cyclists are welcome! Los Olivos is a haven for cyclists. You can stash your bikes in our bike garage and if you need tools or air, we can help.
The cottage is a short 1/2 mile from the town of Los Olivos. It is situated up on a hill surrounded by huge mature trees, and an occasional inquisitive horse in the nearby pastures. You won't see any streetlights here. Close enough to pop into town but totally secluded for your privacy. SLEEPS 4 MAX.
