Many of our guests for this apartment return and book it trip after trip. We specialize in stays of over 30 nights, many of our guests are traveling contract workers and those wanting to escape the hot weather of home for the Summer. This 1 bedroom apartment is located in a 4-plex. The living room has great natural light and looks out to the front of the building. In the living room you will find comfortable club chairs and a couch for viewing TV or a desk to work on if this is a business trip. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and is located in the back of the apartment away from the street. The bathroom has a stall shower and was remodeled in 2018. The rental has a full kitchen including a full size range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. The building has a coin-op washer/dryer for laundry needs. The overall size of the apartment is 1100 square feet making it larger than some homes for rent on VRBO. Included in the unit is Wi-Fi that is shared in the building.
I have owned this building since 1999 and remodeled all the units, 3 of my apartments are built out as extended stay rentals and my other tenant is long term and has been living at the property for years.
Eureka is a city of almost 30,000 located on the northern pacific coast of California. We have an active arts community with a monthly Arts Alive Night on the first Saturday of each month in Old Town, there are also many local art galleries for viewing or purchasing art. Humboldt State University has its own gallery in Old Town on 3rd Street with student and faculty exhibits and also out of the area artist shows. There is a wide variety of restaurants to be found in Eureka and we would be happy to give you some ideas of how to choose your meals out. In Henderson Center there is a great local coffee shop for morning pastries and coffee drinks. Humboldt County has a bounty of outdoor activities to be enjoyed at our local beaches and forest areas.
Eureka is a 4 hour and 45 minute drive north of San Francisco and 120 miles west of Redding. Whether you want to escape the urban population of the Bay Area or the heat of Redding or beyond, Eureka is a great choice.
